Charles Kevin Isaacs
October 2, 1964 ~ May 4, 2026 (age 61)
Charles “Kevin” Isaacs met Jesus face to face as he entered glory on Monday, May 4, 2026.
Kevin was born on October 2, 1964, to the late Charles and Judy Isaacs. He was part of many wonderful church families over his life, with his most recent attendance at Sonrise Fellowship. Kevin enjoyed a rich career by serving others through his work at Fayette County Schools, WV Tourism and Parks, Clay County Schools, and the WV Department of Education. He was an Eagle Scout and served in leadership roles for Troop 123 in Clay, WV.
Along with his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his father by marriage, Charles Gray, his grandparents, and many uncles and aunts. Kevin is survived by his wife of 34 years, Melinda, their son Charlie and daughter by marriage Hannah, his sister Kim Walls, her husband Brad and their son Isaac, his sister Sharon Walters, her fiancé Ryan Smith, his niece Kirstin Burdette, her husband Donald, and their daughter Hayden Denise, his niece Morgan Kelley, her husband Ryan, and their daughter Ryan Kate, his mother and sister by marriage, Ona and Loretta Gray, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevin’s desire to serve Christ came first, and then to serve his family.
A heaven going celebration will be held on May 11 at Wilson Smith Funeral Home in Clay, WV, with the viewing beginning at noon, and the funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Lookout, WV. Jesse Boggs, Kenneth Tanner and Randy Cantrell will officiate.
